Moxico: Minister satisfied with province’s agricultural growth
Luena - The minister of Agriculture, Afonso Pedro Canga, Monday in Luena, eastern Moxico province, expressed satisfaction with the work done by the workers’ associations and organisations in the region.

Moxico: Minister of Agriculture, Afonso Pedro Canga
Speaking to journalists at the end of his two-day working visit to Moxico province, the minister considered stable the local agricultural production, highlighting the engagement of the peasants.
He stated that the Angolan Government’s programme concerning incentive to food production is going smoothly and his department will continue stimulating and providing assistance to peasants.
Pedro Canga recalled that Moxico province is on track concerning the battle against famine and poverty, and the Government will continue providing all type of assistance to the peasants, seeking to contribute to the diversification of the economy.
While in Moxico, Afonso Pedro Canga visited the agricultural projects of Sacassange, in Luena, Camaiangala, Camanongue municipality, where 900 acres of maize and 100 of soya are expected to be harvested in April this year.
