Angola: BAI inaugurates headquarters building in Luanda

Luanda - The Angolan Investment Bank (BAI) has gained as from Tuesday in Luanda a headquarters building that brings together the whole team and support of the financial institution.

The new infrastructure called BAI Tower, whose construction works started in 2010, covers an area of ​​32,000 square meters, has 20 floors above the ground, two underground, 194 parking spaces, among others.

At the inauguration act, the executive director Hélder Aguiar said that BAI was working on a four-story building the areas of administration, medical center, gym, auditorium, service to the public.

He also stressed that in the country, BAI currently has 144 branches, 600.000 customers and 2004 employees.

According to him, BAI also has offices in Portugal, Sao Tome and Cape Verde. It has a business portfolio of over 10 billion dollars, the loan portfolio of more than two billion dollars.
