Speaking to Angop at Luanda’s “4 de Fevereiro” International Airport, the Angolan official said that this is a high-level meeting where ministers and other technicians of the sector will address the African mining vision.
The minister explained that the meeting whose theme is "African mining vision" outlines the way and how African countries should make the exploitation of their natural resources taking into account the needs of each country.
The minister said that Angola has a very positive experience in this field, stressing that the reconstruction of the war-torn country in less than ten years is due to an organizational model in the exploitation of mineral resources.
According to him, Angola has a model that works well based on national concessionaries such as Sonangol, Endiama, Ferragol and Adrominas so that the State has access to mineral resources through taxes and also for the property, which means that the state will not only seek taxes, but it is also the owner in each project, he explained.
Francisco Queirós also said that the policies of the country enable the state to have many resources from minerals, and it is thanks to these that "we invest and do all this development that the country is known and we will convey this experience in Addis Ababa, concluded the minister".
The Angolan delegation in the event also integrates senior officials of the ministry, as well as other specialists in the mining sector in the country.
