Industry wants to simplify imports of raw materials in sector

Luanda - The Angolan minister of Industry, Bernarda Martins, considered essential that the country?s industrials, and those of the beverage sector in particular, provide the ministry data on production needs, so that the government finds ways to support them at a time the domestic market faces shortages of foreign exchange for imports.

Bernarda Martins, who said there were delays in the supply of data by industrials, said that with the industrial information the Government will trace ways to overcome this difficulty.

According to the official, who was speaking Thursday at the end of the 6th joint session of the Economic and the Real Economy Commissions of the Council of Ministers to ensure that government support created programs for different segments of the national business.

He confirmed that the production of glass, internally, does not rely on raw materials imports, as the country has them in abundance and with great quality.
