Lunda Sul: Official calls for greater participation in economy
Saurimo - The governor of the eastern Lunda Sul province Cândida Narciso Monday defended greater participation of Angolan women in the economic process to increased the contribution to the diversification of the national economy.

Cândida Narciso, who was speaking to the press on the provincial conference on economic and social empowerment of women, set for 29-31 this month, called for more active and direct participation of women in the process.
Some 300 delegates are expected to attend the conference in Saurimo, the capital of Lunda Sul.
The event will reflect on the role of women in society and the challenges of female participation in the sustainable process of Angola.

Saurimo - The provincial governor of the eastern Lunda Sul Province, Cândida Narciso, announced last Wednesday, in Saurimo City, that Luachi mine, with reserves estimated at 350 million carats and an exploration potential of about 29 years, will be a source for industrial, economic and social development of the region.
