Moxico: Deputy municipal administrator wants re-launch of agriculture in Luau

Luau - The deputy administrator of Luau Municipality, in the eastern Moxico Province, Nora Mahongo Isaac, last Wednesday called on peasants and entrepreneurs to invest more in the agricultural sector, aimed at re-launching the activity in the region, having also into account the need to diversify the country’s economy.

Speaking to ANGOP about the crisis that affects the Angolan economy, mainly caused by the fall of the crude-oil price in the international market, Nora Mahongo Isaac stressed that in this stage the country has to focus more in agricultural production, with a view to stimulating economic growth.  

She further said that she believes in the commitment of everyone to the process of diversifying the Angolan economy, hoping that at medium term the country can improve its economy substantially.
