Namibe: Local tourism potential on display at Sea Festival

Namibe - The economic, hotels and tourism potential of the south-western Namibe Province is being exhibited in the venue hosting the 2016 edition of the Sea Festival, with special emphasis on the agricultural sector.

According to the co-ordinator of the event for marketing and publicity, Alexandre Niuca, the objective is to show the potential of Namibe Province and other provinces participating in this exhibition, aimed at attracting investors and promoting tourism.

The exhibitors, in the ambit of the diversification of the economy, are displaying also the work being done in different regions, mainly in the agricultural sector.


The cultural side is also being promoted, with some provinces displaying various craftworks, garments and furniture.

The event is also being enlivened by the performance of Angolan artists.
