Angola seeks Japan's know-how in fisheries sector
Luanda - Angolan is interested in technological capacity of Japan in the fields of scientific research and staff training, said Friday in Luanda the Fisheries minister, Victoria de Barros Neto.

The minister expressed the country's interest at the meeting with the delegation of Japanese businessmen
The official said that Angola is a country with many marine and aquatic resources and the the Asian nation can take advantage of them , through mutual cooperation.
The minister described as excellent the meeting with the 20 Japanese businessmen linked to different companies.
She said that meeting served to show the investment opportunities that Angola offers, particularly in the fisheries sector.
Among the potentials of which Japan can cooperate with Angola, the minister mentioned the areas of fish production and processing, manufacture and construction of fishing nets factory.
The sector continues to invest in the increase of fish production with stress to aquiculture, said the official, who put the statistic data of Fisheries ministry in 2015 at 496,000 tones.
The activity of fish processing and manufacture was 57,000 tons, while the salt industry stood at 42,000 tones.
