Angolan drivers back to crossing Noqui / Matadi border

Nóqui - After 10 days on the border between Noqui and Matadi, discouraged by excessive charges and deposit applied by the customs authorities of DRC to vehicles and goods transiting to the Angolan province of Cabinda, the Angolan truckers back Thursday crossing the border.

55 trucks await to cross DR Congo to reach Cabinda

This information was given Thursday to ANGOP by the head of the General Tax Administration (AGT) in the municipality of Nóqui, Manuel Muxito.

According to the source, the truckers back to transit across DR Congo Thursday afternoon, but nobody knows the details of action taken by the Congolese authorities on the decision of banning the truckers.
