Cuanza Sul: FCKS cement factory resumes hiring personnel

Sumbe - The cement plant in Kwanza Sul (FCKS) today began hiring personnel to resume cement production in the next 50 days.

Speaking to the press, the chairperson of the factory's board of directors, Emanuela vieira Lopes, said that the process is normal, considering that many employees are expatriates

and need a work visa.

"We are aware that cement is a product that is lacking for construction companies and citizens who want to build their homes, so this recruitment process must be very fast to
allow production to start," said PCA.

Regarding the acquisition of the Heavy Fuel Oil (HFO) fuel, she said that it is being acquired regularly at the Luanda Refinery.

She said the company is conducting a study to put coal-fired ovens to work in order to avoid these constraints this year.
