A press release from the fifth taxation region that Angop had access to said that the auctioned containers belonged to the only private company in the food industry sector that did not comply with the 60 days established for the clearance of goods in the port area.

Four companies involved in the food industry participated in the auction.

The last auction in Namibe was held in June 2016, with 33 containers with various construction materials. In this auction were collected for the state coffers about 113 million kwanzas.

The fifth tributary region corresponds to the provinces of Namibe and Huila and is one of the seven regional services of the General Tax Administration.
