Israel has USD 250 million available to invest

Lubango - The government of Israel has US $ 250 million to invest in Angola, in the areas of agriculture, water, and solar energy, its country's ambassador Oren Rozenblat said in Lubango on Wednesday.

The revelation was made to the press after a courtesy meeting with the deputy governor of Huíla for political, social and economic area, Maria João Chipalavela, during the diplomat a one-day visit to the province, to identify areas to invest and establish partnerships.

Oren Rozenblat said that the value has been available since 2014, to be invested in projects in Angola, and in Huíla in particular, especially in the agriculture, water and solar sectors, which are the economic potential in Israel and want to share their experience with the province.

He explained that since 2014 his government has not received any manifestation from the Angolan side, including businessmen, of intention for the investment of this capital.

"We are willing to give more money, provided there is the intention of the government and the businessmen in Angola," he said.
