Tourist movement increases in Lunda Sul
Saurimo - At least 4.939 domestic and foreign tourists visited the north-east Lunda Sul province from January to November, a figure that represents the double of tourists who visited this part of the country in the same period of 2016.

In 2016, some 2.127 tourists visited the province of Lunda Sul, as a result of the improvement of the quality of hotel services and the increase of rooms, according to the local director of Trade, Hotels and Tourism, Manuel Segunda, who spoke to Angop on Wednesday.
He pointed out that the hotels sector created 140 jobs, 79 of which for women.
He added that some hotel infrastructure is under construction in Saurimo city, with seven hotels, with a total of 508 bedrooms, expected to be completed by 2018.
The city of Saurimo currently has two hotels, a residential complex, 12 guesthouses, three tourist villages and two guesthouses, with a total of 436 bedrooms, four restaurants, two bars, two bakeries and a café.
Lunda Sul has seven tourist attractions, namely the Casengo and Tchihumbwe Falls in Dala municipality and the lakes of Luary, Tchitende and Pelengue in Saurimo city.
