This was said last Thursday, in Houston City, State of Texas (U.S.A), by the chairwoman of Sonangol’s Executive Commission, Josina Baião, who said that the company’s mission to the event was accomplished.
“(...) We showed the capacities and availabilities of Sonangol’s branches, which not only serve the country but also internationally (...)”, she explained, adding that the company is aware of the challenges it has to face, such as the need to become more competitive.
She noted that throughout its existence the national oil industry has made great investments, and now there are big, well structured firms and which have the prospect of becoming more and more competitive, both nationally and internationally.
The Offshore Technology Conference, established in 1969, brings together industry professionals and companies from all over the world for the exhibition and exchange of ideas in this field, specifically on the most advanced knowledge.
This year more than two thousand exhibitors showed their latest innovations in the technological field and addressed the market prospects.
