Lunda Sul: Endiama bets on agriculture in Mona Quimbundo

Saurimo - The fertile soils, suitable for large-scale agricultural production, as well as the abundant rivers in Mona Quimbundo locality, eastern Lunda Sul province, has encouraged the Diamond Firm "Endiama EP" to invest in the agriculture and fish farming sector in the coming years.

The company's CEO, Carlos Sumbula, announced so on Saturday at the end of his visit to the fishing farm project, underway in the Mona Quimbundo locality.

Carlos Sumbula said that the visit to the region aimed to study the agriculture sector which will benefit from the funding in a short period of time.

He said that the investment in the agricultural sector also aims at generating more jobs for populations.

In order to boost the agricultural sector in Lunda Sul, Carlos Sumbula announced the construction of ten-classroom agrarian school as being in progress in Mona Quimbundo commune since February 2016.

Two rooms are dedicated to Chemistry Biology Laboratories.
