Namibe: Minister unveils village

Moçâmedes - The first phase of the village "O Nosso Zimbo", which aims to guarantee suitable housing for Finance Ministry’s professionals in the province of Namibe, was inaugurated today in this locality by the minister of Finance, Archer Mangueira.

The village, whose construction began in 2013, in a promotion of the cooperative of the ministry professionals, includes 126 residences of typology T3 and T4 and technical and social infrastructure in an area of 7.6 hectares.

On the occasion, the Minister of Finance, Archer Mangueira, said that the construction of the village represents a way to value the human capital of the sector, guaranteeing conditions of habitability.

The provincial finance delegate, Joaquim Neto, stressed that the project constitutes a gain for the province because it contributes to the urbanism development of the city.
