Angolan President meets representatives of oil companies
Luanda - The Angolan President, João Lourenço, received in a joint meeting on Friday in Luanda the representatives of oil companies operating in Angola, at their request, in order to address issues related to the sector's challenges and development .

These are representatives of Sonangol, ENI-Angola, Total EP-Angola, Statoil, Esso, BP-Angola and Cabinda Gulf Oil Company.
Speaking to the press at the end of the meeting, Luís Fernandes, Secretary for Institutional Communication and Press Affairs of the President of the Republic, pointed out that the representatives of the companies transmitted to the Head of State their vision on the oil sector, according to the current challenges of the oil industry and market.
"It was an opportunity for oil companies to share their proposals with the Head of State and how to work together to deal with the panoply of the challenges facing the oil industry in the world", he stressed.
According to Luís Fernandes, together they have sought to find solutions that are advantageous to all, making available the knowledge they have as a result of their operations in Angola and internationally.
"The effects and results of what may have been stimulated by this meeting in the Presidential Palace, in due time will be generated in the form of guidelines, adjustments, for the sake of the Angolan economy and Angolans", he said.
