Benguela: 90,000 hectares ready for cultivation in Ganda
Ganda - At least 90,000 hectares of land in Ganda Municipality, centre-west Benguela Province, are ready for the cultivation of products like maze, beans, peanuts, cassava, potatoes and others, as part of the 2017/2018 Agricultural Campaign.

Arable land ready for cultivation in Ganda
According to the director of the Agrarian Development Station (EDA) in Ganda, Fernando Piki, on an interview to ANGOP, the agricultural campaign kicks off this month and it will mobilise about 47,097 peasant families.
Fernando Piki assured that the peasants will get agricultural inputs and technical assistance from EDA, in the framework of the Programme of Rural Extension and Agriculture Boost.
The official also revealed that EDA will soon receive 500 ploughs for animal traction, 25 hoes, 25 cutlasses, 1,169 tons of fertilisers, among other inputs that will serve to support the agricultural campaign.
