Second railway line with 40 kilometers length already completed

Luanda - At least 40 kilometers of the Bungo / Baia railway line have already been completed, accounting for about 70 percent of the duplication works of the Luanda Railroad (CFL).

Works of the Luanda Railroad to access the New International Airport

The fact was revealed Tuesday, in Luanda, by CFL's CEO, Júlio Bango, at the end of an assessment visit to the site by the Transport Minister, Augusto Tomás.

The execution of these works is ensured by 200 technicians among Angolans and Chinese personnel.

The mentioned railway line will facilitate from the end of 2019 the access of trains to the new International Airport of Luanda also under construction.

The project's works began in 2017 and is expected to be completed in 2019, when the new Luanda International Airport is also planned to be inaugurated.
