Speaking to the press, Border Police chief lieutenant Moisés Paixão dos Santos explained that the seizure of the money was possible due to the good work of the canine unit of the Border Police.

According to the police chief, the money was found at the possession of an Angolan citizen that was coming from DR Congo.

“We are encouraged by the reinforcement with the canine unit here at Luvo, so that we counteract the sophisticated methods used by traffickers (...)”, emphasised the source.
