Angola: Govt to provide business opportunities in tourist sector

Luanda - The Executive intends to facilitate the way of doing business by identifying investment opportunities and attracting investors to develop the sector.

Executive to make use of tourist potentials

This was stated Thursday by the State Secretary for Tourism, José Guerreiro Alves Primo.

The official was speaking at Consultation Meeting that gathered businessmen of the sector.

According to him, the initiative is also meant to reduce the costs of setting up business activity in the hotel and tourism sector.

He said that the meeting is happening at a time when the tourism sector is called to integrate the "clusters" capable of diversifying national exports.

The objective is to contribute to the implementation of the Executive's strategy to end the crisis.

According to a press note released at the end of the meeting, the event gathered Secretaries of State for Economy Sérgio dos Santos, Culture João Constantino and Trade Amadeu Nunes.

Representatives of ministerial departments of the sector, national directors, directors of the tourism development hubs, also attended the meeting.
