Bengo: Forest institute levies 11 million in fines
Caxito - At least AKz 11.3 million was raised last year by the Forest Department Institute of the northern Bengo province, Angop has learnt.

The information was disclosed Tuesday by the head of the Institution, Francisca Segunda Mandes, adding that the amount is part of the fines imposed due to the illegal logging in region.
Francusca Mande, called for the need to increase the number of inspectors, currently standing at 24.
According to her, the Institution needs to recruit 26 more new inspectors.
Inspectors are distributed in several strategic posts located in communes of Úcua, Desvio do Icau, Libongos and Desvio da Barra do Dande.
