The increase in the price of this product in the informal market is mainly due to the rise of cement in the two cement plants in the country's capital, which changed from 1.300 to 1,495 kwanzas (Nova Cimangola) and 1,600 in the CIF, in the Bom Jesus district, according to the cement distributors and clients, interviewed by Angop.

If by November 2017 the price of cement, which cost 2,500 Kwanzas, was only registered in the informal markets of the country, the cost is now more penalizing because the factories also raised the price, that worries the merchants and users of this product.

With the increase in the price of this product, which is indispensable for the construction industry, it reverts to the old constraints and operational blockages that existed in the acquisition of the cement about nine months ago, at a time when thousands of citizens seek the fulfillment of the dream of own house, and the country needs to continue and complete the key infrastructure for socio-economic growth and development.
