Cuanza Norte: Belsa da Costa, State secretary of Energy
Speaking at the inauguration of the electric power network, which supplies the town of Quiculungo, from Capanda dam (Malanje), Belsa da Costa called on the population to assist in the denunciation of vandals that destroy public assets, in the frequent registration of cases of damage to electrical infrastructures installed in various localities of the country by citizens in bad faith, causing additional costs to the state coffers and weakening the energy supply.
He also asked the beneficiaries to honor their electricity payment obligations in order to contribute to the reduction of the costs of energy production and maintenance of equipment, as well as the rational use of the them, having at the time indicated that the new payment rate will be safeguarded for the interests of the low-income population.
