Huambo: Finance sector urged to offer public manager training
Huambo - The branch office of the Finance Ministry in central Huambo province has been asked to train the local managers of the public funds for better handling the financial resources.

The call came from the provincial governor of Huambo, Joana Lina, when speaking at the 4th Council of the Financial Institution on Saturday.
The governor said that the new financial regime requires skilled managers capable to guiding the State Budget resources.
"The Provincial Finance Office must instruct and inform the public managers, mainly in the management procedures, in order to place all at the same level in terms of provision and social intervention quality," she requested.
Joana Lina said that despite scarcity of financial resources and a having much to do, it is necessary to apply and perform the tasks properly in order to avoid conflict of interests both managers and entrepreneurs.
The governor called for greater concentration, responsibility and attention to management of public assets to ensure better use of the amounts allocated and means to be made available to different institutions.
