Cuanza Sul: 14,000 heads of cattle vaccinated

Sumbe - At least 14,000 heads of cattle have been vaccinated against contagious peripneumonia, hermetic carbuncle and modular dermatitis in centre-west Cuanza Sul Province.

Speaking to ANGOP, the head of the Provincial Veterinary Services Department, José Luís Vunge, said there is less 20,000 bovines in relation to the last vaccination campaign held in 2017.

According to the Veterinary Services, over 80,000 doses of vaccine have been made available for the current campaign.

Cassongue Municipality is the biggest breeding region in the province with 44 heads of cattle.
