The schools are being set up in the municipalities of Cassongue, Quibala, Amboim, Conda and Cela.
The objective is to help peasants to use fertilizers correctly, treat the soil, preserve seeds, among other agriculture-related contents.
Speaking to Angop Tuesday, IDA provincial director, Daniel Gonçalves Alberto Epalanga, said that 99 villages, integrating 10,063 peasant families, have been selected in the first phase.
The training will enable the beneficiaries to mechanization, animal traction, grinding and fertilizer subprojects.
Some peasant associations are also benefiting from the support, such as leadership and communitarian organisation, as well as agro-techniques in maize, bean, potato, and horticultural crops.
Cuanza Sul province has a population estimated at 1.7 million inhabitants.
