Addressing the opening ceremony of the process, INE interim director, Ruben Gomes, said the householders that will serve as representative sample were selected from 37 communes of 11 municipalities of the province.

However, he urged families to provide real information so as to enable INE to produce reliable indicators that will allow the government to outline policies for the sake of the communities living in poor conditions.

The result of the inquiry is expected to produce indicators that will update the data on the living conditions of the families, employment and calculate the poverty in Angola.
