Luanda - Angola participates in the 8th World Water Forum, taking place from the 18th to the 23rd March, in the city of Brasília, Federative Republic of Brazil.

Forum to debate water resources sustainability

Seven thousand speakers representing 400 institutions from 70 countries will participate in this meeting in the pursuit of Objective 6 of Agenda 2030 on the Sustainable Development Goals (MDGs).
To the forum, the Angolan delegation, to be integrated by officials of the Ministries of Energy and Water and the Environment, the country carries the motto "Angola, Sharing Water Resources, Towards Sustainability".
According to a note from the Ministry of Energy and Water, besides the conferences, Angola will show its water potential, with the exhibition of diverse information, having already reserved a space in the exhibition area.
During the exhibition, public companies from the Angolan Energy and Waters sector will establish the exchange of experiences and partnerships with other institutions.

Luanda - The year 2017 will be the starting point for the relaunch of regulation in the water sector, so that it will imply that there is a total delivery of those responsible and other members assigned to the Regulatory Institute of Electricity and Water Services (IRSEA).

Luanda - The Marçal Water Distribution Centre, after its full operation, will have a distribution capacity of 70.000 cubic meters, surpassing the previous one that was 35.000.
