Transport operators must pay taxes
Saurimo - Public transport operators in Lunda Sul on Thursday were urged to comply with their tax obligations, with a view to contributing to the increase in revenue collection for the state.

The appeal was made by the director of the Transport Office in Lunda Sul, Ferreira dos Santos, during a meeting with the heads of the public transport operators, with the aim of sensitizing them to the fulfillment of their fiscal obligations.
Ferreira Dos Santos also appealed to the owners of the vehicles that transport goods and passengers, in order to license their means in the Tax Office of Saurimo.
"Starting next week we will begin to license all vehicles that provide services in our province, especially in the transport of people and goods and those who do not join will be punished," he warned.
According to him, the diversification of the national economy must involve all sectors, especially the private sector, hence the need for all as economic operators to make their contribution through the payment of taxes.
Participants addressed issues related to urban mobility, circulation of the 25 buses distributed by the Ministry of Transport, situation of the cr parks, school transportation, vehicle licensing, among others.
