The Parliamentary leader was speaking at the opening session of the workshop held by the 6th Parliamentary Committee of the House, on IIMS

The speaker said the analysis of the indicators shows that the social situation of the country is worrying and requires special attention.

He considered the report an excellent tool that can help improve and define public policies in sensitive and important areas.

"All of us have a shared responsibility to reverse this situation, he said, stressing that the challenge of improving the data of the future reports should be a priority in our agenda in this legislature.

According to him, the MPs should play a relevant role in this key tool and ensure that in the next State Budgets include money for social sector programmes that contribute to the well-being of Angolan families and social progress.
