AGT deactivates over 2000 taxpayer numbers

Ondjiva - At least 2,325 Fiscal Identification Numbers (NIF) have been de-activated from the system of the General Tax Administration (AGT) in the southern Cunene Province, from January this year to July.

The information was given last Monday by the AGT head of fiscal services department in Cunene, João Jorge Bernardo.

He went on to explain that the numbers had to be deactivated due to various reasons, such as the bankruptcy of some taxpayers (companies), the merger of some firms and the change of identity.

  

AGT in Cunene controls about 4,257 taxpayers.
