These strategies, according to the lectures at the First Consultative Council of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (MINAGRIF), are propitious for the large-scale development of the agri-livestock sector, chosen by the Angolan Executive as one of the important areas in the diversification and strengthening of the national economy.
The national director for Domestic Trade for the Mercantile Services, Estêvão Chave, in his lecture on "Rural trade as a lever for agricultural production", defended the organization of commercial activity, the rehabilitation of its infrastructures, construction of national and secondary roads and railway routes to contribute to the dynamization and valorization of the agricultural fields.
He suggested to the Executive that concrete guidance policies, integrated projects with strategic alignments, a fund from the government and bank financing to real farmers and the encouragement of people to return to rural areas should be implemented.
