Minister of Transport assesses construction works of sector in Cabinda
Cabinda - Transport Minister Ricardo de Abreu Tuesday began a visit to the province of Cabinda to evaluate works at the airport Maria Mambo Café, passenger terminal and breakwater.

In addition to these works, Ricardo de Abreu also visited the construction works of the Logistics Center of the Unicargas and the deepwater port of Caio, all linked to the transport domain.
Works at Maria Mambo Café airport were interrupted for a few months due to a lack of first phase payments to a Chinese contractor who performed 40 percent of the contract, corresponding to 20 percent of the financial execution.
Likewise, the construction of the maritime passenger terminal and the breakwater, the logistics center of the Unicargas and the deep-water port of Caio are paralyzed.
The minister also visited the park of the Public Transport Company (ETP).
Along with the visits, a meeting is also scheduled for Tuesday with the members of the boards of directors of the dependencies of the Ministry of Transport, in which the head of the portfolio will download guidelines for the current framework of the works and the sector that leads for its proper functioning.
