Angolan Investment Bank with AKZ 70 billion for credit to private sector
Luanda - The Angolan investment Bank (BAI) has available roughly 70 billion kwanzas (USD 200 million) to grant additional credit for private sector, said on Wednesday its executive commission’s chairperson, Luís Lélis.

The institution, which is one of Angola’s largest banks holding operations in Portugal and Cabo Verde, has available a credit portfolio estimated at USD 1 billion to financing projects linked to several sectors such as agriculture, tourism, fishing, real estate, construction among others.
The bank official, who was speaking to the press on the fringes of the conference on financing to private sector, ran by the National Bank of Angola (BNA), invited businesspeople to request for credits made available, providing that they submit feasible projects.
