Indebtedness plan estimated at AKz 3.5 billion
Luanda - The Angolan state's annual indebtedness plan, provided in the 2019 General State Budget, is set at AKz 3.5 billion, said Thursday in Luanda the director general of the Public Debt Unit of the Ministry of Finance, Walter Pacheco.

Speaking to the press after a session of the Economic Commission of the Council of Ministers, the official said that the Annual Debt Plan for 2019 contains the assumptions of sustainability of public debt in the short, medium and long term.
This document is presented annually in the framework of the General State Budget, in which the limit of indebtedness of the State is defined.
On the creation of the National Council of Accounting Normalization of Angola (CNNA), approved on Thursday, the national director of Public Accounting, Álvaro Teixeira Fernão, said that the institution will have a commission with 35 members, which will be composed of representatives of the public, private and corporate sectors, as well as supervisors and regulators.
In the focus of the commission will be the harmonization of the standards and financial statements of the Ministry of Finance.
The aim is to bring domestic standards into line with international regulations.
