The main collection of data, to run from February to December this year, is to take place in the provinces of Moxico (east), Uíge (north), Cuanza Sul (centre) and Benguela (centre-south).
The choice for these provinces in this pilot phase of statistical data collection, processing and disclosure of data concerning the structure of the agriculture, farming and fishing in the country, was due to those regions’ agro-ecological and agricultural specificities, which secure logistical density and animals stocks.
With this registration, the Angolan government intends to know the basic statistical structures of agriculture and fishing sectors, which enable to perform studies or research for sample to contribute to the production of an integrated farming and fishing system.
The RAPP is expected to collect socio-demographic characteristics data, small, medium and big agricultural , livestock, fishing and farming explorations, access to agricultural tools, human resources, machines, lands, irrigation, annual cultivation, and access to veterinarian services.
