ANGP validates Sonangol, ENI, TOTAL bids for oil exploitation
Luanda - Angola’s National Petroleum, Gas and Biofuel Agency (ANPG) validated on Wednesday the bids for oil exploitation of Namibe and Benguela maritime basins made by the state-owned firm Sonangol, Italian (ENI) and French (TOTAL).

The bids were presented last September during an international tender launched by ANGP and whose validation was made public on November 13.
Natcha Massano, ANPG director, explained that now follows the qualification of the firms and assessment of the bids in a process to be conducted until December 28 for a negotiation process to kick off after that and the subsequent signing of the contract on March 30, 2020.
Namibe and Benguela basins have 10 blocks that occupy roughly 55, 387, 88 square kilometers.
