A delegation made up by several South African investors is expected to arrive in the Angolan capital, Luanda, for a five-day visit, starting on December 1, at the invitation of the Angolan President’s Office for Productive Sector, with the aim to consolidate the contacts initiated in August this year for the development of precision agriculture, cattle breeding and rural reorganization.

A coordination mission of the South African investors was received on Tuesday by Angola’s extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador to this African country, Filomena Delgado, with whom they discussed the creation of a strategic platform to support the development of this project.

The rural reform project proposed for Angola by the South African investors embodies precision agriculture, breeding of big animals, reorganization of rural communities, development of agribusiness, improvement of roads and rural electrification.

The strategic platform will integrate cooperatives, firms and other institutions linked to products manufacturing for agrarian and animals health, irrigation systems, certified laboratories and varied other equipment.
