Kassinga steel mining project resumes
Luanda - Kassinga mining steel project located in the southern province of Huila will resume its activities, suspended since 1970, this year after the signing of a deal on investment by Tosyali Holding.

Signed the contract was the CEO on behalf of the above international company, Fuat Tosyali.
The signing ceremony took place at 1st International Conference and Exhibition on the Mining Sector, witnessed by the Head of State João Lourenço.
The project to be implemented by Tosyali Irone & Steel Angola S.A company, is located in Jamba municipality (Huila), about 350 km from Lubango city.
Fuat Tosyali confirmed that the project works shall start in January 2020 and foresee to create 1,000 jobs, in the first phase.
The Presidential Decree, dated 23 October, stresses the structuring role of Kassinga project for development of the country, as part of the
Executive effort focused on diversification of national economy and creation of employments.
