ANPG legal framework completed

Luanda - The legal framework for the effective exercise of the concessionaire function of the National Agency of Petroleum Gas and Biofuels (ANPG) is concluded with the publication on Thursday of Law 5/19 of April 18, amending Law 10/04 of 12 of November, Law of Petroleum Activities.

According to an ANPG press release reached Angop, the Angolan Executive through  Presidential Decree 48/19, of February 6, has created the National Agency of Oil, Gas and Biofuels.
 

This agency is specifically assigned to be a national concessionaire with the purpose of regulating, supervising and promoting the execution of oil, gas and biofuel activities.
 

It was created with the aim of ensuring greater political coordination, eliminating possible conflicts of interest, increasing the transparency and efficiency of the processes and creating attractive conditions for private investment in the oil industry.
