Oil company Sonangol targeted by cyber attack
Luanda - The information technology system of the state-owned National Fuel Society (Sonangol) was targeted by a cyber attack that occurred in the early hours of last Thursday.

According to a note released by the company, its Information and Technology Department (DTI), upon learning of the cyber attack took immediate precautionary measures, which included the Shutdown mechanism for the whole system.
According to the note, the company continues to take the necessary measures aimed at reinstating the normal IT system fully.
Sonangol also lets the public know that more information will follow.
