Executive and business associations support "Projects in Efforts"

Luanda - The Angolan Executive and business associations will carry out the survey and support the "Effort Projects", business initiatives with a physical and financial execution rate of more than 50% and that can be completed in the fourth quarter of 2019 and first of 2020.

Angolan Executive, business associations support "Effort Projects"

This initiative aims to support the development of the private sector, according to a press release from the multisectoral commission of the Programme for Support of Production, Exports Diversification and Substitution of Imports (Prodesi).

"Effort Projects" are initiatives of entrepreneurs, with considerable potential for wealth creation, employment, and with high added value, implemented over the last years in the priority sectors of economic activity, inserted in the development of the productive chains of 54 products selected under Prodesi.

It is also part of the "Projects in Efforts" those that have not been completed due to factors beyond the control of their promoters, such as lack of raw materials, unavailability of foreign exchange resources, lack of support infrastructures, among others.

For the selection of these projects, there are eligibility conditions defined, such as the need to be Private Sector Projects included in the development of the 54 Prodesi products, with physical execution rates equal to or greater than 50% and tax status with the AGT regularized, .

According to the note, interested parties should fill out the application form, which can be obtained and later delivered to their respective business associations, the National Institute for Support to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (INAPEM) or the Provincial Development Offices Economic Integration (GPDEI), until the 25th of the present month.
