Icolo e Bengo hosts export diversification meeting

Luanda - Luanda province’s Icolo e Bengo municipalty hosts a meeting on Export Diversification and Import Substitutions Support Programme (PRODESI), aimed to register and clarify the entrepreneurs on the access to credit.

The 54 businesspeople at the meeting were clarified on guidelines issued by the Ministry of Economy and Planning on how to join the Credit Support Project (PAC).

The meeting identified the areas where each entrepreneur can invest.

The areas include agriculture and fishing, commerce and industry.

The objective is to ensure the sale and purchase of the national product.

The eligible entrepreneurs, focused on production of basic product, are required to pay only an interest rate of 7.5 percent each to the banking network for support the programme.

Launched in 2018, the programme has reached all country’s provinces.
