The Angolan official, speaking at the Conference on the Promotion of Investments in African Countries, under the first China-Africa Trade and Economic Fair, listed the many advantages and guarantees that Angola offers to private investors.

The minister, who heads the country's delegation to the event, assured that Angola currently has new incentive instruments, such as the new Private Investment Law, the new Competition Law, rectification of the Trade Agreement and simplification and debureaucratization of imports and exports.

Speaking of the diversification of the economy, Joffre Van-Dúnem Júnior also referred to the creation of conditions for the re-launch of domestic production of bananas, coffee, cereals, textiles, wood, ornamental stones, cement and fish for export.

The minister also said that Angola wants to count on the support of China's private investors for the country's industrialization and strengthening of its logistical infrastructures.

The government member recalled that Angola is now a country of great opportunities, as in addition to the new legal framework to support the economy, the country has many natural resources and its geo-strategic location in Africa allows investors to easily expand their business to other markets of the southern region of the continent.
