The SAF-T file brings together all the relevant tax documentation of a company, whose information is then exported and sent to the taxing authority. These files include the identification of the company, customers and suppliers, as well as the products and services.
The tax authority has recently published the list of printers that will print invoices and equivalent documents in the framework of tax reforms.
These are the National Press, the official government body, the Corimba, Damer, Unimater, Angola Editions, Moké, Mega, and others.
According to the coordinator of the implementation group of the IVA, Adilson Cerqueira, there will be validated the sofwares of more companies, graphs and typographies.
With these instruments, he explained, the consumer / taxpayer when buying a certain good knows how much to pay consumption tax for a particular product.
With the introduction of VAT at a rate of 14 percent in all transaction phases, invoices from various businesses establish the value of a particular product's price and tax.
Examples of VAT implementation
According to the coordinator, when a customer buys a table, the invoice will include the price of the product and the respective tax (VAT).
In this transition phase, he said, VAT will cover companies registered in the tax section of large taxpayers, the only ones who will be entitled to deduct the tax they bear on the purchase of goods and services.
