Technology Center invests USD 200,000 in food processing

Huambo - The Huambo-based Food Technology Center is investing USD 200,000 for the acquisition of new equipments, with view to turning itself into a national reference in fruits and legumes processing.

This was said to ANGOP on Monday by manager of the institution, Hilário Salupula, underling that technological material necessary to increase the capacity to produce agricultural derivates is found in South Africa, so this could be available to operate by the end of the year.

Food Technology System was created in 2002, it operates in Caála municipality, taking into account that the region records the highest agricultural, fruit and raw-materials output for its functioning.
