This position is contained in the memorandum on the “Government's Guidelines on the Real Economy”, prepared in the framework of the topics discussed at the meeting between the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, and representatives of business associations.
The memorandum submitted by the Executive also proposes that the hiring of consultants should be by tender and international consultants should be subcontracted by national consultants.
In the document, entrepreneurs advocate the resizing, restructuring or merging of the various funds to support the development of existing economic activity (FND, FADA, FACRA, Coca-Cola Fund).
Such measures are necessary in the light of existing resources, the level of organization and their usefulness within the objectives of the National Development Plan (NDP 2018/2022).
