Angola: Malanje hosts CPLP Central Banks meeting

Luanda - National Bank of Angola (BNA) promotes an international meeting on human capital management from 11 to 12 this month, in northern Malanje province, according to a press release from the institution reached Angop Tuesday.

The event will bring together the representatives of the Central Banks of the Community of the Portuguese-Speaking Countries (BCPLP).

The meeting will address issues on current human capital requirements and strengthen the ties of cooperation among the professionals from bank regulators linked to this matter.

The 17th meeting on human resources will take place under the theme “Strategic Management of Human Capital and the Challenges of Digital Transformation”.

Promoting the exchange of experiences in the definition of human resources management plans and strategies in the face of the global digital revolution is another objective of this meeting.

The human resources managers of the central banks of the CPLP countries will reflect on the challenges of management, definition, adequacy and valuation of Central Bank professionals in the context of digital transformation.

The 16th meeting of the kind was held in December 2014 in Benguela province, under the slogan "Central Bank Information Technology Systems".

The human resources managers of the central banks of the CPLP comprises Angola, Brazil, Cabo Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, Mozambique, Portugal, East Timor, Sao Tome and Principe.
