Head of State unveils Expo-Industry event
Luanda - President João Lourenço unveiled this Wednesday morning the Fourth Edition of the Industry Fair (Expo-Industry2019), which is happening in the Luanda/Bengo Special Economic Zone (ZEE) with the participation of over 300 exhibitors.

The event, which has already created 250 temporary jobs, is a partnership between the Industry Ministry and the Eventos Arena group. It has exhibitions of national firms in the areas of production of cereals, meat, cotton, tobacco, sugar beer, cement, timber and in the real estate sector.
One can also see the participation of companies in the domain of crude-oil refining, tyres, fertilisers, cellulose, glass, steel, soap, salt, food processing, beverages, paint, paper and civil construction material.
Delivering the opening speech at the event, the secretary of State for Industry, Ivan do Prado, said Angolan can now focus on producing goods that can compete with their imported counterparts.
He also highlighted the development taking place in the country’s manufacturing industry, mainly in the sector of foodstuffs and beverages.

Luanda - At least 250 companies from the Cereals, Meat, Cotton, Tobacco, Sugar, Beer, Cement, Wood and Furniture production sectors will participate in the 4th edition of the Expo-industry, to be held as from 9 to 12 October in the Special Economic Zone (EEZ).
